通风除尘装置在冶金工厂应用广泛，其功能为送风、排风、排除有害气体和收集烟尘，以改善生产环境。输送气体和粉尘的通风除尘管道是它的重要组成部分。由于输送介质与输送方式不同，通风除尘管道需选用不同的材质，制成圆、方、矩形等不同的断面形式。通常把金属、硬质塑料、玻璃钢等管材与管件组制成的管道称为“风管”；把用砖、混凝土砌筑或用混凝土预制板、石膏板、木板拼制成的管道称为“风道”。通风除尘管道一般安装在地上或地下管廊、沟槽中，也有的布置在基础或建筑构造内，与土建工程同时施工。安装通风除尘管道的主要要求是：管内平整，保证输送介质畅通；连接严密，无泄漏；做好必要的防腐和耐磨处理，以延长管道寿命。
The ventilating and dedusting device is widely used in metallurgical plant. Its function is to supply air, exhaust air, remove harmful gas and collect dust, so as to improve the production environment. The ventilation and dedusting pipeline for conveying gas and dust is an important part of it. Due to the different conveying medium and conveying mode, the ventilation and dust removal pipes need to be made of different materials into different cross-section forms such as circle, square and rectangle. Generally, the pipes made of metal, hard plastic, fiberglass and other pipes and pipe fittings are called "air ducts"; the pipes made of bricks, concrete or precast concrete boards, gypsum boards and wood plates are called "air ducts". The ventilation and dust removal pipes are generally installed in the above ground or underground pipe gallery and trench, and some are also arranged in the foundation or building structure, and constructed at the same time with the civil engineering. The main requirements for the installation of the ventilation and dust removal pipeline are: the pipeline shall be smooth to ensure the smooth transmission medium; the connection shall be tight without leakage; the necessary anti-corrosion and wear-resistant treatment shall be done to extend the service life of the pipeline.
